 West Hawaii Association of REALTORS® offers a variety of educational programs, including NAR Designation classes such as Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), and Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) classes. Each year, we offer our strategies courses: Getting the Listing, Exclusive Right to Sell, Finance and Purchase Contract for both new and experienced agents. Our 2018 Education schedule is listed below.

    This course is provides a background in three interrelated topics that are relevant when agents deal with clients and customers.

    Representation/Agency covers the laws applicable to the disclosure and establishment of agency relationships, the fiduciary duties owed a client.  Ethics covers certain conduct that agents should observe or avoid in their daily practice of real estate. These practices are discussed in the NAR Code of Ethics and are applicable to all licensees.  Fair Housing covers the laws agents are expected to comply with in providing non-discriminatory service to clients and customers.
